Mission statement
Promote the benefits of MiraCosta College and secure resources that transform lives.
Our 2026 goals

- Close equity gaps for disproportionately impacted students.
- Foster academic excellence.
Areas we serve
Coastal North San Diego County
Donation opportunities
Gifts support student scholarships, emergency funds, and campus programs.
Scholarships
- Our goal is to provide 700 students with scholarships this year.
- Gifts of any size support student scholarships.
- Donors giving $5,000 or more annually can establish a named scholarship.
- Endowed scholarship funds of $25,000 provide a named legacy that supports
students annually.
Resilience Fund for Emergency Support
- Our goal is to support 100 students with emergency funds
- Students often work multiple jobs to make ends meet until completing their education. A sudden job loss or emergency can leave a student with no option but to quit school.
- The average student emergency can be overcome with a gift of $500 per student.
Annual Fund
Donations made to the Annual Fund have the flexibility to meet needs as they arise, including:
- Direct student aid
- Campus events and program support
- Community support
- Emerging educational opportunities
