Boy, 17, suffers life-threatening injury in National City shooting
A shooting Saturday night left a 17-year-old boy with life-threatening injuries.
The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. in National City’s Kimball Park.

“The victim sustained a life-threatening injury and was transported to a local trauma unit,” National City police said in a news release.
Authorities are investigating. The National City Police Department’s Investigations Division asks anyone with information about the shooting to call 619-336-4411 or submit an anonymous tip to San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477 or online at sdcrimestoppers.org.
