City Hall’s folly: mandating replacement of trash bins in good shape
Re “City leaders indifferent to money they waste with trash bin policies” (Oct. 3): Let me get this straight: In February, I must be home to receive two new trash and recycling bins. As I remember, I paid more than $60 the last time I replaced one. Today I have two very serviceable bins. Why can’t the city just put a sticker on my current bins and save a great deal of money?
