Dirty downtown feels abandoned by city
Downtown San Diego is such an embarrassment. We recently parked at the Evan B. Jones Parkade for events at the Civic Theater and Petco Park. So many downtown buildings and parking areas are filthy, smelling of urine and unmaintained.
How about an effort to regularly clean up and maintain the area, starting with the City Administration Building and the surrounding (nonexistent) landscaping, then fixing up more sections little by little?
The whole area feels abandoned. City leadership has really lowered its standards.
