Kiwanians honor four Pacific Beach students

The Pacific Beach Kiwanis Club honored its second group of students for the 2025-26 school year through its “Student of the Month” recognition program.

The November honorees were David Bazua, a third grader at Crown Point Junior Music Academy; Davis Casilio, a fifth grader at Kate Sessions Elementary; Badi Masrouri, a fifth grader at Barnard Mandarin Magnet Elementary; and Kirra Sherk, a fifth grader at Pacific Beach Elementary.

Each student received a certificate and 25 Mr. Frostie dollars, which the business donated. The club also hosted the students, their families and teachers for breakfast. The students were nominated by their teachers for exhibiting leadership skills and being a good role model to peers.

The club’s goal is to honor students at Barnard, Kate Sessions and Pacific Beach elementary schools and Crown Point Junior Music Academy. For nomination details, teachers can contact Kiwanian Tony Bayona at 305-525-0791.
