Pedestrian hit, killed by trolley in Barrio Logan
A trolley struck and killed a pedestrian Tuesday in Barrio Logan, authorities reported.
The light-rail tram hit the victim at Main and Sigsbee streets about 1:15 p.m., according to the San Diego Police Department.
The pedestrian died at the scene, Officer Sarah Foster said.
The fatality forced closures of traffic lanes in the immediate area, according to police. No further information was available.
