Rep. Levin’s call for immigration changes divides readers
Re “It’s time to lead with strength and compassion on immigration” (July 30): I am very proud to be a constituent of Mike Levin and was pleased to read his piece on immigration. Mike has always made it clear that he represents everyone — Democrats, Republicans, independents and apolitical folks. Finding common ground is the way he operates. We would be better served if more politicians followed his lead and worked for the good of our country.

“Time to find common ground on immigration,” i. e., no one is above the law except an immigrant here illegally. Everyone else should obey the law, but such immigrants should be allowed to ignore it. What tripe.
