San Diegans getting the first taste of a spicy new sub at Jersey Mike’s

If you live in San Diego County and love a spicy sub, you’re in luck. San Diego residents are among the first customers in America to taste-test Jersey Mike’s Subs new Hot Italian sub sandwich this month.

Jersey Mike’s launched the test market for the spicy sandwich on Dec.1. It will continue through mid-January at the 66 Mike’s locations in the greater San Diego region. The other test markets are Chicago, Salt Lake City and Minneapolis.

Served hot, the sandwich features salami, pepperoni and grilled chopped ham with melted provolone cheese, topped with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato and spicy chopped pepper relish.
