Send us your back-to-school photos

With a new school year upon us, we’d like to invite you to send us some of your photos from opening day of the 2025-26 school year on Monday, Aug. 11, at any of La Jolla’s five campuses in the San Diego Unified School District.

They can be pictures of your children, yourself and/or your friends. Just be sure to include everyone’s name and let us know who took the photos.

Please email as soon as possible to robert.vardon@lajollalight.com. Photos received by noon Aug. 11 may be published in the La Jolla Light’s Aug. 14 edition. Otherwise they’ll run the following week, and will appear on our website, lajollalight.com.
