Del Mar Community Connections event celebrates 25th Silver Anniversary
The Del Mar Community Connections Fall Benefit took place Oct. 4 with 125 guests celebrating the 25th Silver Anniversary of the local 501c3 nonprofit with a mission to support and serve Del Mar older adults who are aging independently and vibrantly at home.
The event’s guests included founders, board members, donors, and volunteers gathering at sunset on the Del Mar Civic Center Plaza. They were treated to great food and wine, viewed a “Video Yearbook” slideshow of the year 2000 prepared by the Del Mar Historical Society, enjoyed a wine tasting, and participated in a musical performance and music trivia game from Celeste Barbier.
