Friends of Solana Beach Library announces Saturday library opening and craft event on Nov. 15
Friends of Solana Beach Library recently announced a Saturday opening on Nov. 15, with exciting programming. The Solana Beach Library will be open from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and the Friends of Solana Beach will be offering a free Pumpkin Succulent craft event from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m..
Enjoy live music while creating your own succulent pumpkin masterpiece. The event will be held outside, weather permitting, so dress accordingly. Pumpkins and succulents provided while supplies last.
The Friends hope the attendees will take advantage of this special Saturday event and stock up on reading and library materials for the coming fall weather, according to a news release.
“Friends of Solana Beach Library is excited to support a Saturday opening with a great craft project for everyone,” stated Jennifer Eveleth, president of Friends of Solana Beach Library, in the news release. “Come for the craft and music and stay for the book selections at the library and bookstore.”
The Friends of Solana Beach bookstore will also be open from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Friends of Solana Beach Library invites all to this fun day of programming for all ages. Solana Beach Library is located at 157 Stevens Ave., Solana Beach.
Note: Please bring reusable water bottles to the event in order to help reduce plastic waste in the community. In addition, patrons are welcome who wish to ride their bikes to the event as bike stands are located just around the corner from the library book return kiosk.
